TRANSINDONESIA.CO – The Supreme Court (MA) to death two convicted drug. Both are citizens of Taiwan.
Two accused of smuggling 4 kilograms of methamphetamine and was arrested in 2015 was named Chen Jia Wei and Chen Chih Lo. The death penalty was handed down the Supreme Court on Wednesday last week.
“Both decided by the Supreme Court on Wednesday, January 20, 2016. Both of them are citizens of Taiwan named Chen Jia Wei and Chen Chih Lo,” said spokesman MA Suhadi in a written statement, Jakarta, Friday (29/01/2016).
According Suhadi, the decision taken by the Assembly Chairman Artidjo Alkostar, members Surya Jaya, Sri Murwahyuni PP, and Heru Wibowo Sukaten.
Chen Jia had previously been sentenced to life imprisonment by the Tangerang District Court. The same punishment is also imposed on Lo Chich.
