TRANSINDONESIA.CO – AirAsia wishes to inform that 13 flights have been affected, following the closure of Ngurah Rai International Airport due to Mount Rinjani volcanic activity.
Below is the list of flights that have been diverted:
- QZ 833 Kota Kinabalu – Denpasar, diverted to Surabaya
- QZ 545 Perth – Denpasar, diverted to Surabaya
- AK 374 Kuala Lumpur – Denpasar, diverted to Jakarta
The following flights have been rescheduled:
- QZ 555 Kuala Lumpur – Denpasar
- QZ 509 Singapore – Denpasar
The following flights have been cancelled:
- QZ 7516 Jakarta – Denpasar
- QZ 7517 Denpasar – Jakarta
- XT 7518 Jakarta – Denpasar
- XT 7519 Denpasar – Jakarta
- XT 7534 Jakarta – Denpasar
- XT 7533 Denpasar – Jakarta
- XT 802 Denpasar – Melbourne (on 4 November 2015)
- XT 803 Melbourne – Denpasar (on 4 November 2015)
Affected guests will be notified of their latest flight status via their registered e-mail address and SMS.
Guests whose flights have been rescheduled or diverted will be informed of their new departure time. Meanwhile, guests whose flights have been cancelled may choose one of the following options:
- Change of flight schedule of the same route within 7 days from the original date of departure without additional fees.
- Deposit in form of Credit shell equivalent to the value of the confirmed booking to be used for payment of any AirAsia tickets. Credit shell is valid for 3 months (90 days) from the date of issue.
Guests are advised to check www.airasia.com and AirAsia’s social media pages for further announcements.
We also encourage guests to check their flight status through “Manage My Booking” feature on AirAsia’s website before heading to the airport.
