
TRANSINDONESIA.CO – AirAsia aircraft with flight number QZ 8501 allegedly lost around Belitung Island and Tanjung Pandan. Such information is formally presented the Minister of Transportation, Igansius Jonan.
Speaking in a press conference at Juanda Airport, Sunday (12/28/2014) at 13:00, Jonan said that this time the search for 138 passenger plane is still carried out by a joint team.
“A search conducted by the TNI, Basarnas, and SAR Singapore. We also conveyed by radio to ships around to give assistance if there is any sign of the plane,” he said.
In the presence of keluargakorban and members of the media, Jonan speak no more than five minutes. According to him, effective information will continue to be updated in line with developments. “Do not assume, what is more important is not information, but the search effort,” said Jonan.
AirAsia Airbus A320 aircraft departed from Juanda Airport on Sunday (12/28/2014) at 05:20 and was scheduled to land in Singapore at 08.30. The plane reportedly disappeared from the radar around 6:00.(rol/met)
