56 WN Taiwan and China Arrested for Blackmailing

TRANSINDOENSIA.CO – Special Economic Crime Directorate of Criminal Investigation Police arrested dozens of foreign nationals were involved in cases of fraud and extortion, accompanied by threats, or criminal acts via telephone, or telephone fraud. They were arrested in several regions in Indonesia.

“We managed to secure 56 foreigners, consisting of 46 men and 10 women,” said Director of Special Economic Crime, Brigadier General Kamil Razak when found in the Criminal Investigation Police, Tuesday (07/22/2014).

“So, for example, there is the sound of a printer, a computer, as if it is indeed true of the specific office contact. Then, the victim sends the money (eg to pay taxes) on the offender,” said Kamil.

In a conversation with the victim, the perpetrator said that cases involving victims being handled and investigated. To that end, the victim must submit a sum of money.

However, the perpetrators not be punished in Indonesia, because the victim, or in the case of China. Police arrest only help the process.
